Our faith is centered on the Son of God, Jesus Christ. His life, death, resurrection, and ascension are the climax of the story of God’s workings in the world, the Bible, which we hold to be inspired and infallible. Our Christian faith can be concisely summed up in the words of the three Ecumenical Creeds. We are also a congregation of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod https://www.lcms.org/ (LCMS for short). As such, we believe that in the proclaimed Word (Bible/sermon) and the Sacraments (Baptism and Communion) Jesus is truly physically present for and with us, bringing present-tense forgiveness of sins and strengthening of our faith. We proclaim the present-tense Gospel! Furthermore, we offer Jesus to anyone, interpret the Bible faithfully, and hold to Biblical understandings of how the people of God are supposed to act as we wait in community for the return of Jesus.
